Alongside her surgical practice, Dr Aruna has deep and sustained experience in obstetrics. She routinely manages high-risk pregnancies and is known for her work in normal and painless deliveries, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean), and comprehensive antenatal and postnatal counselling. Her patient-centric approach, supported by structured prenatal guidance and continuous care, has contributed to consistently strong maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Dr Aruna holds an MBBS and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, is a Da Vinci certified robotic surgeon, and serves as a robotic surgery proctor, training gynaecologists across India. She began her career as an OBGYN at Kasturba Hospital, Delhi, and later gained extensive experience at leading institutions including Batra Hospital, New Delhi, and Paras Hospital, Gurugram. Over the years, her balanced, ethical and outcome-driven approach has established her as one of the most trusted OBGYNs in the region, particularly for complex and high-risk cases across all stages of a woman’s life.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Aruna is a recognised voice on women’s health across leading media platforms including NDTV, Aaj Tak, ABP News, Republic Bharat and CNBC Awaaz, and in publications such as The Times of India, Hindustan Times, India Today and Femina.
